Lauren Oller Sanchez {NCIDQ, IIDA}

President, Principal Designer                                                                       

Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Lauren Sanchez took professional degrees in both architecture and interior architecture from Auburn University's College of Architecture, Construction and Design. She spent nearly eight years with LS3P Associates where she was named senior associate and was lead designer on multiple AIA, IIDA and ASID award-winning projects. Lauren is NCIDQ certified (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) and established Lauren Sanchez Design Ltd in April of 2008. Living in downtown Charleston with her husband Jonathan and two young children, Evelyn and Alexander, Lauren works to stay involved in the Charleston community. She has served the last three years as a board member with the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry and now serves as Board Chair for the Friend's of James Simons Montessori, where her children attend school. Lauren is also co-owner of Charleston's only independently owned bookstore, Blue Bicycle Books.

Erin Marie Larson {LEED AP}

Managing Principal                                                                                     

Raised here in Charleston, South Carolina, Erin Larson attended CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) accredited Winthrop University, where she received numerous design scholarships, awards and academic accolades. Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Honors Degree, in Interior Design, she returned home to pursue her career; working for Palmetto Interiors and LS3P Associates before joining Lauren Sanchez Design Ltd. in January of 2010. Erin is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and currently resides in nearby Hanahan with her husband Richard, their two children, Hannah and Benjamin and two dogs (Hailey and Beau). Erin is active in serving the Charleston community, working as a volunteer coordinator for Crosstowne Christian Church and serving with both the Bair Foundation and West Ashley's LoveGave organization.

Interior Designer

Born in Virginia and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Dare Snead attended Meredith College, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design. After working in New York City’s fashion industry for four years, her Southern roots led her back to Atlanta where she completed her master’s degree in Interior Design from Brenau University in 2017. Prior to accepting a position with Lauren Sanchez Design Ltd. in September of 2018, Dare worked for Margaret Kirkland, and Jane Schwab; known for their classic Southern interiors. She resides in Mount Pleasant with her rescue terrier, Molly. Dare enjoys volunteering in the community through the Junior League of Charleston.


Senior Interior Architect

Originally from Summerville, South Carolina, Liz Mirick graduated from Clemson University and Florida State University with advanced degrees in Architecture and Interior Design, respectively. Beginning her architectural career, Liz worked in residential and commercial firms in Charleston while becoming a registered architect in the state of South Carolina. Liz also taught interior design at The Art Institute in Charleston and Anderson University where she led her students to state and national recognition in multiple ASID student competitions. Before joining Lauren Sanchez Design in May 2019, Liz worked on her own specializing in small residential and commercial projects throughout the Lowcountry. Liz and her two cats Fred and Syd all reside in her hometown of Summerville, where she is active in local mission projects through her church.


jennifer bonelli

Senior Interior Designer

Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jennifer Bonelli graduated with honors from Bucknell University with a degree in Economics and began her career on Wall Street. Realizing her love for design, she switched paths and attended The New York School of Interior Design’s CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) accredited Master of Fine Arts Program. Working for two prominent hospitality interior design firms in Manhattan, including Jeffrey Beers International, she has designed everything from large scale entertainment complexes, cruise ships, casinos, condominiums, hotels, and restaurants for celebrity chefs. Jennifer recently moved South after a decade of experience in NYC. Prior to joining Lauren Sanchez Design in March of 2019, Jennifer was at McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture where she worked on senior living, hotel, and commercial office design projects in downtown Charleston. She is on the board of NEWH (The Hospitality Industry Network) serving as the Social Media Chair for the South Carolina Chapter and is active in the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association. Jennifer resides on Johns Island with her husband, two small dogs, Bella and Buckley, and her newborn baby girl Victoria Renee.


kayla ann lachance {allied asid}

Intern Interior Designer

Born and raised in Marion, North Carolina, Kayla LaChance graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) accredited Appalachian State University. Beginning her career in Western North Carolina, she gained experience in several areas of design, including as a designer and sales associate for Blowing Rock Furniture Gallery, a residential design intern with Ambiance Interiors in Asheville, and an instructor of visual literacy courses in Appalachian State’s Interior Design program. In April 2019, she finally pursued her dream of moving to Charleston and joined Lauren Sanchez Design. She currently resides in Charleston with her husband Phil and their rescue dog and guinea pig. Kayla is an Allied member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and serves on the board of the Carolinas Chapter ASID as Student Affairs Director.
